Mumbai, July 16, 2018 (CityNewsAre): &TV’s recently launched weekend episodic offering Laal Ishq, a series of passionate love stories with a supernatural twist has received a great response from viewers in just a few weeks. Combining elements of romance and thrill, the show witnesses different renowned faces from the world of television in each of their stories. Joining the all-star line-up are Mishkat Varma and Ankitta Sharma, playing the lead characters of Shaurya and Radhika respectively, on one of the upcoming episodes of the show. This episode will be produced by Dipti Kalwani from Sunny Side Up.
Mishkat who is a popular name on television is known to have played noteworthy roles in various shows. He started his career with modelling and has also endorsed various brands. Talking about his new foray, Mishkat says, “It’s interesting how a popular genre like love can be mixed with some supernatural elements and the end result is both beautiful and surreal. Laal Ishq presents such unique stories that the audience will enjoy on the weekends along with reality shows.”
Ankitta Sharma, famous for portraying strong female characters on television, agreed with Mishkat. Sharing her thoughts, she says, “This is my first experience working on a show which has both love and supernatural factors involved and I am glad that this opportunity came my way. I always wanted to try different roles and stories, and Laal Ishq has been a great decision for me. Every story on Laal Ishq has a different kind of flavour and is narrated in a beautiful way, I am extremely glad to be a part of it and I hope the viewers like our story.”
