Mumbai, September 05, 2018 (CityNewsAre): As one of the most classic love stories is being retold on celluloid, Imtiaz Ali's close friend, Anurag Kashyap hosted the first preview of the film. The creative minds of the industry made their presence felt at this 'directors special preview' and the response from these filmmakers has been overwhelming and stupendously encouraging for our debutants, Avinash Tiwary and Tripti Dimri and director, Sajid Ali.
Impressed by the film, Rajkumar Hirani said, “Both the new comers were fantastic and it didn’t feel like it is their debut performances. Romance runs in Imtiaz Ali’s family, and we can feel that in Sajid’s way of directing a love saga like this one. I wish them all the best."
Vikram Aditya Motwani was smiles when he said, “I loved the film, its got a lot of soul, the actors are amazing, the score is fantastic, the songs are beautiful. Well done team!”
Abhishek Chaubey too was in praise of the film, he said, “I really enjoyed the film, both the leads are amazingly impressive and the audience are in for a sweet surprise.”
Kashyap too was all praises for the film. He tweeted, "“Laila Majnu” is such a heartfelt retelling of the love story, so deeply rooted in its mileu. With the filmmakers raving about the film and giving it a happy nod, it's the audiences turn to go watch it and give it their love.
The film that promises intense romance, soul and madness of love, releases this week on 7th September.
