Students of Green Land Convent School shine in State level Karate and Abacus Tournaments

Ludhiana, May 09, 2018 (Iqbal Happy): Students of Green Land Convent School, New Subhash Nagar, Ludhiana performed exceptionally good and embarked their potential by bringing various positions in Karate and Abacus State level Tournaments held recently. The students earned medals by playing with full vigour and zeal in different categories of Boys and Girls.

In Inter School Seishikai Shito-ryu Karate Championship, Sana Rana in U- 7 (Girls) category and Love Kumar in U-10 (Boys) category secured first position and Harshita Verma in U-6 (Girls) category, Varpunit in U-9 (Boys) category, Amanjit in U-7 (Boys) category and Abhijeet in U-12 (Boys) category won third position.

Taniya and Drishti (T4 Category, Level 10) added another feather to the cap of school by bagging first position in Abacus Competition held recently at Tyagraj Stadium, New Delhi.

School Principal congratulated the winning students and appreciated them for their efforts and adding 4 gold medals and 4 bronze medals in the talent basket of the school. She emphasized on the importance of sports and games in the present scenario and encouraged the students to keep on the good work and develop into wholesome personalities. She applauded the coaches and teachers who left no stone unturned during their practice to make their dreams come true.
